The Wish-Ender Exotic Bow remains one of the most powerful kinetic weapons in Destiny 2, renowned for its intrinsic Anti-Barrier capabilities and ability to see enemies through walls. Acquiring this iconic weapon requires Guardians to navigate the Shattered Throne dungeon and complete a series of specific quest steps. Understanding the prerequisites and token mechanics is crucial for a smooth and efficient run.
Essential Requirements and Starting the Quest
Before launching into the quest, players must own the Destiny 2: Forsaken Pack to access the necessary content. Once this expansion is owned, Guardians can pick up the Hunter's Remembrance quest from the Quest Archive terminal in the Tower or H.E.L.M. Alternatively, speaking directly with Petra Venj in the Dreaming City will grant the quest line.
Players must ensure they have free inventory space in their Kinetic weapon slot to receive the Awoken Memento. This quest item acts as the primary tracker throughout your dungeon run. Having a fireteam of three players is highly recommended to handle tough encounter mechanics easily.
Cleansing the Tokens in the Shattered Throne
To empower your Awoken Memento, you must enter the Shattered Throne dungeon and locate three hidden Taken bosses. The first relic is found in Erebus during the Labyrinth encounter, where depositing an orb into an unlit statue spawns a boss named Querim. Defeating this enemy cleanses your first token.
As you progress through The Descent and the slowed Thrallway, you must collect two additional relics. Depositing these relics into the corresponding statues unlocks a secret door where Eriviks, the Waking appears. Defeating Eriviks successfully purifies the second token.
Defeating Vorgeth and Claiming Wish-Ender
The final cleansing step occurs during the encounter with Vorgeth, the Boundless Hunger. During this fight, an invisible minotaur spawns, which drops the final relic needed to summon Xavoth, the Waking. Eliminating Xavoth cleanses your final token before completing the boss fight.
After Vorgeth is defeated, head up the stairs to locate the large statue of Sjur Eido. Present your cleansed tokens to the statue to claim your Wish-Ender Exotic Bow. Finally, visit Petra Venj in the Dreaming City to officially complete the questline.
